David Day Architect focuses on custom residential and environmentally conscious design projects. With thirty years in the profession, I’ve been involved in work around the country and internationally. The experience of place is primary in all of my work. In the past 20 years that work has been custom residential with an emphasis on green design. Before that, performing arts spaces, schools and larger public projects. Each client brings personal aspirations; each site affords unique opportunities to benefit from views, light, topography… My goal in design is to mesh those aspirations with the place.
